A Defining Moment in my Life

Hello and Thank You for visiting me here at Golden Key Coaching.

I am Loretta Morrison, founder and CEO of Golden Key Coaching.  I am very pleased to meet you.

Here is my defining moment:

In March 2010, I was working full-time making a very good living at a day job while coaching nights and weekends.  Each morning I got out of bed, got my kids off to school made the painful journey to my day job.  I coached my clients in the evenings and weekends.  And to be honest with you I had been doing that for quite some time.

I wasn’t doing either my day job or my business very well.  I didn’t have a crystal clear vision or direction, a marketing strategy, systems, and so much more.  I didn’t know all these things were vital to my business.  I did know that I wanted more from both my business and life.

One day I was walking across the main foyer of the office building where I worked, in the middle of the floor is an orange and black compass, which is the logo of my Business Coach.  That day I really looked at the compass and seen it, it seemed for the first time.  I knew it was time to make a big decision – my day job or my business-having what I dreamed about; being my own boss, having freedom over my time, financial freedom, spending all the time with my children and so much more.  So, I road the elevator to “The Office” and quit my day job! 

I have not looked back - not once!

I hired my Business Coach, spent many hours learning all aspects of being in business and coaching, getting clear, creating a plan and taking action. 

I’m telling you this because I want you to know that I have been there.  Yes, it is scary but well worth it. 

Also, I achieved all this in such a short time, less than a year, I wanted to let you know that you can too.  Remember, I had a skeleton of a business, very little knowledge or know how.  All I had was an idea.
